Extra-curricular activities
Research shows that students who participate in activities outside of their studies tend to have higher grades, better exam results, and a more positive experience of school.
Taking part in extra-curricular activities allows for a short break from studies and the opportunity to return to learning refreshed. They improve mental and physical health by improving mood and increasing energy levels. They are also a great way to demonstrate transferable skills such as communication, teamwork, leadership and problem-solving to future employers and further education providers.
