Exams and performance

The Year 11 students of 2025 enjoyed a truly remarkable set of results. Their willingness to embrace the learning opportunities they were offered and to work with the staff of the school helped them to produce some of the highest exam performances ever seen at Kingsmeadow Community School.

At Key Stage 5, students averaged a grade C. All of them achieved the grades they needed to move on to the next stage in education or employment, with 88% of the university applicants securing their first choice university. A wonderful achievement coming from their hard work.

At Key Stage 4 we saw some excellent performances, such as: over 30% of the students achieving a pass or better in the European Baccalaureate; forty-four of the top grades of 8 or 9; half of the students achieving well in both English and Mathematics. As with the Year 13 students, we are pleased to say that a majority of our Year 11 students achieved what they needed to move on to their chosen next steps in education or employment. We are looking forward to welcoming many of them back to our Sixth Form next year, in what will be a very strong Year 12 cohort.
