Our Ofsted rating and report

A message from Mr Barrett, Headteacher

I am pleased and proud to be sharing Kingsmeadow Community School’s latest Ofsted Inspection Report with you. After just over a year of improving standards and outcomes, it was great to be able to share our successes with the Ofsted inspection team.

Having six green standards, representing all of the core areas of the school, is an excellent achievement in such a short space of time. Our improvement work on the sixth form is ongoing and we are confident that this area will also turn green when Ofsted next visit in around 12-18 months time. This is representative not only of the hard work of staff, but also of the efforts of students, parents, carers and the community in embracing our changes and putting in great effort to ensure that every child gets the best possible educational experience at Kingsmeadow Community School.

Please watch the short video which further explains the grades and the current position of Kingsmeadow Community School. The Ofsted link also has a video and an explanation of the new Ofsted framework and reports.
