Humanities
Our Humanities curriculum covers four subject specialisms – History, Geography, Sociology and Psychology. Teaching develops our students’ knowledge and understanding of the world and society, both past and present. It encourages curiosity alongside the opportunity to develop skills to critically analyse a wide range of information.
The development of collaboration, communication, creativity, and critical thinking skills play a central role in our teaching as we prepare students for life in a rapidly changing society.
Year 12 and 13 students
Our students have a wide choice of Humanities subjects to study at A Level. The options of History, Geography, Sociology and Psychology are on offer to students, allowing them to pursue their interests at a higher academic level and – looking forward, the opportunities for their further education studies or stepping into the world of work.
