Change is a normal part of life.
For children and young people, change can happen quickly and in many different ways. Starting a new school, moving house, changing friendships, family changes, exam pressure, or even changes in technology and social media can all affect emotions and behaviour. Although change can sometimes feel exciting, it can also feel stressful, confusing, or overwhelming. Learning how to deal with change in healthy ways helps young people become more resilient, confident, and prepared for the future.
By considering different types of change and recognising there are various strategies and skills our Key Stage 3 students are learning ways and life skills to adapt to change more easily so they can become resilient and confident when dealing with change and be able to face future challenges with strength and optimism.
