Congratulations to our Team Kingsmeadow athletes for their sterling effort at the Gateshead Schools Athletics competition on Monday 18 May 2026. All of the students involved were fantastic throughout the day, with every student giving it their all on track and field.

The competition was the qualifier for the upcoming Durham County Schools Athletics Championships at Monkton Stadium on Saturday 6 June. The students who were placed in the top two in each event were selected to represent the county.

Well done everyone – especially to the following students who have qualified to represent the school, and the county, in seven events next month. An amazing achievement, and we are very proud!
