Our silver Duke of Edinburgh Award students began their their weekly volunteering work at Dunston Hill Community Primary School this week by introducing an Art Club for its Year 4, 5 and 6 pupils.
The club is working on an ‘Art around the world’ project, with the first session focusing on Ghana’s Kente cloth – a fabric and symbol that represents unity and heritage.
The primary school’s pupils really enjoyed attending the art club and are looking forward to our students visiting again very soon.
