Our Year 8 boys; supported by three fantastic year 7 players, have made us incredibly proud after delivering some epic performances in the inter-school rugby tournament, securing their place in the next round.

What makes this achievement even more impressive is that some of our players had never played rugby before. Their determination, teamwork and willingness to learn have been fantastic to see, demonstrating just how much can be achieved when students embrace new challenges and support one another.

The team has also benefited from expert coaching from Mr Parsons of Newcastle Red Bulls – formally Newcastle Falcons, whose guidance and support have helped the boys develop their skills, confidence and understanding of the game.

We know our parents and carers will join us in celebrating this fantastic achievement. The boys have shown real sporting spirit and have represented our school with pride, proving that hard work, encouragement and a positive team attitude, can lead to remarkable results.

A huge well done to all the boys involved for their outstanding efforts so far. We wish them the very best of luck in the next round and look forward to seeing what they can achieve next!

Come on, Team Kingsmeadow!
