Self-reflection is the process of thinking carefully about your actions, feelings, and experiences. It allows people to understand themselves better and learn from both successes and mistakes. In today’s fast-moving world, many people spend more time reacting to events than understanding them. Self-reflection helps create balance by encouraging awareness, growth, and better decision-making.
Our students are learning about personal growth – one of the greatest benefits of self-reflection. In their tutor groups this week they are discussing how when people take time to examine their behaviour, they can identify strengths and weaknesses, and instead of repeating mistakes, reflection provides an opportunity to make positive changes, and how in this way, self-reflection becomes a tool for continuous improvement, emotional understanding, and increased confidence and clarity.
