To celebrate the opening ceremony of our new library on the 7 July, and to continue our celebration of the National Year of Reading, we asked our Year 7 and 8 students to take part in our Kingmeadow creative writing competition.

The task was to write a poem on the theme of imagination, and there were so many amazing entries. Well done to everyone who took part, especially to our top students Hussein O (Y8), Annika G, Scarlett N and Kai C-R (Y7), and to the winner Nusiba A.
