Congratulations to our Year 10 students who displayed a fantastic level of perseverance and resilience during their Duke of Edinburgh expedition from Thursday through to Saturday last week.

Over the course of three days, students walked an incredible 33 miles, taking on the challenge with determination, positivity, and teamwork throughout. Their journey along the historic Hadrian’s Wall provided not only breathtaking scenery but also a real test of endurance and character.

One of the highlights of the expedition was visiting the original site of the famous sycamore tree at Sycamore Gap, a memorable moment for everyone involved. Along the way, students also enjoyed plenty of encounters with local wildlife, adding to the experience and adventure of the trip.

Although the weather conditions were far from ideal at times, our students tackled every challenge in their stride and continued to support one another throughout the expedition. Their attitude, resilience, and commitment were truly outstanding.

Well done to everyone involved, we are incredibly proud of you all.
