Extra-curricular activities
Taking part in extra-curricular activities allows for a short break from studies and the opportunity to return to learning refreshed. They are also a great way to demonstrate transferable skills such as communication, teamwork, leadership and problem-solving to future employers and further education providers.
Extra-curricular activities
There is a wide range of extra-curricular activities in our school that take place before lessons start, during the lunch break and after school. The table below shows the activities available.
Extra-curricular school trips
Our school trips to other countries offer numerous benefits for students.
They provide valuable cultural exposure, allowing students to experience new traditions, lifestyles, and languages firsthand. Such trips also enhance language skills through real-life practice and reinforce classroom learning by visiting museums, historical sites, and other educational landmarks.
Beyond academic studies, these trips foster personal growth, helping students build independence, confidence, and problem-solving abilities. They also strengthen social skills, encouraging teamwork and the development of lasting friendships. Additionally, travelling abroad can inspire motivation and curiosity, broadening students’ perspectives and creating memorable experiences.
Previous trips include visits to Croatia, with World Challenge and to Barcelona.
