Arrangements for the start of term
Monday 7th September - Staff Training Day (school closed to students)
Tuesday 8th September - Year 7 Induction Day 1 and Year 12 Enrollment
Wednesday 9th September - Year 7 Induction Day 2 and Year 12 and 13 Induction Day
Thursday 10th September - School reopens to all students. All students to be onsite by 8:30am.
Year 12 enrolment will take place on Tuesday 8th September, Year 12 and Year 13 Induction will take place on Wednesday 9th September. Further details will be issued by Mr Hood, Head of Post 16.
Uniform and Sixth Form Dress Code
Full school uniform will be in place as normal from September 2020. The uniform will be unchanged in September. All students in Years 7 - 11 must follow this. Details regarding school uniform, including where to purchase uniform can be found HERE.
We thank you for your continued support in ensuring that your child comes to school in the correct uniform. All students should be wearing a Kingsmeadow tank top and blazer and only plain black polishable shoes are permitted.
We have a Sixth Form dress code in place as outlined to all post-16 students. Please support the school in this by ensuring that your child is appropriately dressed for a working environment.
It is essential that all students in years 7-11 have a school planner and bring it to school every day as part of their equipment. Planners are £2.50 and can be purchased online using iPay (years 8-11), or in school using cash (year 7). If students wish to purchase their planners in school, they are reminded that they must bring payment on their first day back.
To ensure the safety of students, staff and the community there will be protocols in place from September that must be followed. We have published these protocols HERE and recommend that all parents and students familiarise themselves with them before the start of term.
