This has been a very trying two year period for our students as they have endured a huge amount of disruption. Despite this they have remained positive and worked extremely hard. They have made excellent progress and are well prepared for their next steps into higher education, apprenticeships and the world of work.
At KS5, 67% of all grades were at least a B, with 91% of all grades at least a C and all grades were at least an E. Once again all students that applied for higher education courses have achieved their first choice of university.
At KS4, 67% of students achieved a standard pass in both Maths & English, with 80% of students achieving a standard pass in English, and 71% of students achieving a standard pass in Mathematics.
We are incredibly proud of what all our students have achieved. They have shown real determination and resilience. Staff have worked hard to minimise the impact of the pandemic over the last two years and have ensured students have strong foundations to take those next steps with confidence.
I would like to thank both Year 11 and Year 13 for all that they have contributed to Kingsmeadow School in their time with us. I hope both will look back on their time with staff and peers fondly. I know they will go on and succeed, and I look forward to hearing of their future successes in the years to come.
