Financial support for students aged 16-19 years

We receive funds from the Education and Skills Funding Agency to provide financial support, also known as a bursary, to help overcome any financial impact that 16 – 19 year olds may face when they choose to continue their education at school. The following groups of students are eligible to apply for a bursary:

• vulnerable students.
• students who were eligible for free school meals at any point in the previous six years, or become eligible during the academic year 2024-25.
• students facing financial hardship.
