Gateshead Together Week
Gateshead Together Week will run from Tuesday 25th May - Tuesday 1st June 2010.
People in Gateshead strongly identify with their local area - and that's what Gateshead Together Week is all about. The week-long celebration is designed to build on this sense of identity and encourage people to become more active in their neighbourhoods, to take pride in and celebrate the distinct and often unique identities that make up Gateshead.
A wide range of events will be organised each day throughout the Borough aimed at ensuring involvement from a wide diversity of people from across Gateshead to include people of all ages and backgrounds.
Kingsmeadow School will contribute by holding three events:
The Lifelong learning Centre Family Fun Day - 22nd May
Intergenerational European Cookery Session - 26th May
A Taste of India Day in School canteen - 27th May.
