ESOL Course for Parents
Kingsmeadow school have secured funding to offer a free course for parents who do not speak English as a first language.
The course will help parents improve their skills in reading, writing and speaking English.
It will also help with everyday living and working skills, and enable parents to assist their children with school work.
The ESOL course is being organised in collaboration with Dunston Children Centre, who are providing funding for a creche. Creche places are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
The course will run on Friday's 12.30 - 2.30 for 10 weeks. The starting date is Friday 26th February.
