I am proud to introduce myself as Headteacher of Kingsmeadow Community School.
We pride ourselves on being an inclusive, caring, disciplined and happy school that provides a safe and secure learning environment for all who learn and work here. We are committed to developing the talents and expertise of each individual at Kingsmeadow and this is reflected in our pastoral care, academic support for students, and in our prestigious Investors in People status.

- Our flexible ICT solutions include wireless technology and broadband in every room through a £1.5 million ICT investment
- Students of all abilities make Outstanding progress. We were one of the top 10% of top performing schools in the country at KS4 in 2010.

- We have growing Post 16 provision, through the central Gateshead Sixth Form (cg:6) in partnership with Gateshead College. Our students achieve a 96% pass rate in 2010.
- We are a Full service Extended School with a developint range of community activities and very close links with our partner schools.
