Technology Department
In April 2007 the Technology Department moved into a suite of five new rooms in phase one of the new school building. The subject areas currently delivered are Food, Textiles, Product Design and Electronics. All rooms have the advantage of a wide range of new, modern equipment and are furnished to the highest standard.
The department currently consists of 3 full and 1 part time experienced specialist, supported by a full time technician.
At KS3 students are taught in ability sets following courses designed to meet the requirements of the National Curriculum. Projects undertaken are regularly updated to maintain student interest and enthusiasm.
At KS4 students follow AQA courses in Food; Textiles or Product Design.
