There is a strong and growing 6^th form provision on site. Since 2004 we have been a part of the Central Gateshead Sixth Form (CG6). We are proud to be in partnership with Gateshead College who were graded outstanding by Ofsted in November 2008.

Almost one hundred students from Kingsmeadow continue their Level 3 (AS, A2 and BTEC) studies with teachers they have known since year 7. They are joined by students from the college and other schools who follow some of their courses on the Kingsmeadow site.

The courses at Kingsmeadow are: 

• Business Studies
• English
• Geography
• History
• ICT
• Physical Education
• Science

Students can complete their Level 3 programme by choosing from the wide range of AS & A2 courses offered by Gateshead College.

We have also developed a highly successful Level 2 course in retail.
