Intergenerational Group
Our senior citizens are our greatest ambassadors and we are proud of the intergenerational work we do through our Senior Citizens Club.
Projects that bring our students together with members of the community help to develop relationships, and foster a mutual respect and understanding.
The club is extremely important to the local community, providing older people with the chance to get out of the house, meet up and socialise.
Club members take part in a variety of activities, from arts and crafts projects to creative writing. The club meets every Thursday at the Lifelong Learning Centre with transport provided so that members can get there and back safely.
